It's not pretty, but it sure does work. Unlike BitTorrent or other peer-to-peer file-sharing clients (like, say, LimeWire), Mulve isn't peer-to-peer. Instead, it downloads files directly from servers located—well, somewhere. It's all a bit cloak and dagger, which you can read more about over at TorrentFreak. You can't play, preview, or manage anything from the app. All you can do is search and download. Mulve is a free download for Windows only. I wouldn't expect Mulve to be around forever, but in the meantime, it's definitely good at what it's made to do. However, FileShareFreak has been in touch with the creators of Mulve and asked them where their application is pulling music from – here is their response: "Without giving too much away, I can tell you that we are obviously not a P2P client and in fact we don’t search open FTPs. Instead we directly connect to a few other servers overseas which store the music. Unfortunately, I cannot reveal which these are".Earlier, TorrentFreak carried out some tests of our own using Wireshark on half a dozen randomly selected tracks. On those it appeared that the music was coming from Russian servers connected to Vkontakte, a huge social networking site.Other music could originate from elsewhere but with an alleged 10 million tracks to test, it could be a big task to find out.Mulve appears to be operating on a donate basis at the moment and currently has a target of just $500. nedo Posted September 25, 2010 Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 legat de un post facut de cineva pe aici acum aproximativ o luna legat de virusi inserati in video-uri sau exploatare faptului ca media player, winamp, si multe alte playere pot executa comenzi java si html, si luand in considerare un alt post legat de atacuri cibernetice(unde o parte erau facute de rusi si o parte de chinezi ambele indreptate catre sua prin intermediul unor calculatoare zombi) nu este posibil ca melodiile sa fie modificate, (macar o parte din ele) pentru a transforma calculatoarele utilizatorilor care descarca melodiile in calculatoare zombi pe care cei care au creat acest program le pot folosii pentru a ataca oriunde?? (deseori numit? ?i ”Facebook-ul rusesc”), care ofer? un API ce include mai multe func?ii. Una dintre ele este ?i cea dea c?uta/desc?rca piese mp3 înc?rcate pe serverul lor. Pentru doritorii de a c?uta/desc?rca piese folosind doar browser-ul, recomand site-ul _http://prostopleer.com/?lang=en@nedo,Sincer, nu cred.
