ARP spoofing or ARP poison routing is a technique by which an attacker sends Address Resolution protocol messages to the local area network. Attackers have direct access to the local area network and the reason behind this may vary. Maybe they want to have access to your personal information or maybe they are doing this just to have access to the internet.
