Field Engineer responsibilities would include maintaining the equipment and infrastructure of the site. Additionally, they would also play a role in the installation of new, complex technology. Routine safety testing of machinery would be the responsibility of the Field Engineer, who would provide documentation of these to the appropriate authorities. It is important to keep in mind that Field Engineers might be required to work in some harsh conditions, such as adverse weather. Many believe that Field Engineering is a field in which individuals can only acquire success if they are passionate about it since it requires enthusiasm to overcome the challenges of the industry.
