I built a system that now brings in over $100K/month, starting with only $28  no ad spend, no crazy gear, just smart use of AI tools, music distribution, and YouTube automation. Here's exactly how I did it, what I learned, and how you can replicate it (or improve it).

Step 1: Build Credibility (Optional but Helps)

Start by setting up a few social profiles — especially Twitter/X. Verified accounts look more legit and help with brand trust.
It costs around $3/month. Totally optional, but I recommend it. That's your first $3 out of the $28 startup.

Pick an AI music tool that gives you full distribution rights. My picks:

• Epidemic Sound

• Soundful

• Or similar platforms

Subscriptions are usually $5–$10/month, and they allow full monetization across Spotify, YouTube, and more.

Recommended genre: Phonk
It performs insanely well in Shorts & Reels right now.

 Step 3: Distribute Your Tracks for Free

Don’t pay for music distribution up front. Use free platforms like:

• Amuse

• Soundrop

• Routenote

• Level Music

•  

They’ll push your music to Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, etc.

Pro tip: When they offer YouTube Content ID, say NO.
Why? Because if your music is "locked", other creators can’t use it freely — and that limits exposure.
Let others use your music in their videos. It brings way more viral traffic and leads to affiliate sales and Spotify streams — $5K–$10K vs. $50 from YouTube ID.

 Step 4: Make Your Music Go Viral with YouTube Shorts

Now for the real traffic. Use a $15 YouTube automation tool  that does this:

• Scrapes viral content from IG, TikTok, Reddit

• Builds video compilations

• Lets you add your own music in the background

Set up multiple free YouTube channels, post consistently.
Some videos will get 200 views, some 50K, and some will hit MILLIONS. That’s the goal.

The more you post, the more the algorithm plays in your favor.

And every time someone hears your music? There’s a chance they’ll use it in their own content too — even more free reach.

 Step 5: Add Affiliate Links (No Product? No Problem)

If you don’t have your own product or course to sell — no worries. Affiliate marketing fills the gap. Here’s how:

• Join affiliate platforms (like Digistore24, ClickBank, Gumroad Partner, etc.)

• Pick offers in your niche (finance, fitness, AI tools, whatever your Shorts are about)

• Add the affiliate links in your YouTube descriptions, pinned comments, or your bio links (Linktree, etc.)

Your music drives the views → Your videos bring the traffic → Your links convert the sales.

⚠️ Why I Don’t Use AdSense

You can activate YouTube AdSense once you’re eligible, but don’t expect much. YouTube pays about $50 per million views on Shorts.
So instead of $50, you’re better off earning:

• $3K–$5K from Spotify per million streams

• $1–$5 per affiliate click (if well-targeted)

• Or 10x more from courses, services, and upsells

Focus on owning the traffic, not letting YouTube drip-feed you pennies.

This system won’t make you rich overnight — but if you stick with it and keep uploading, the algorithm WILL reward you. You’re not paying for ads. You’re not begging for attention. You’re building something scalable, repeatable, and profitable.
