Introduction

After completing this tutorial, you will be able to get the IP-adress of every Skype-User without adding him by using a skype Vulnerability recently discovered.

Requirements

-Windows XP/Vista/7

-A VPN to hide your IP-adress, you can find a list of free VPNs here: Top 10 Free VPN Services - Technically Personal!

-7-Zip/WinRAR: 7-Zip

1.Download the deobfuscated version of Skype here:

2. Extract the downloaded Zip-File.

3. Enable debug-log file creation by adding logging-on.reg to your registry. (double click it)

4. Start your VPN/Proxy

5. Run skype55_patched.exe

6. Create a new account, and log in.

7.In Skype, from the menu bar, click Contacts > Add a Contact…

8.Search for any user whose IP-adress you want to obtain.

Just click on the user to view his vcard(general info about user). This will be enough.

9.Open the debug.log in the Skype-folder (debug-20120420-2257.log for example) with any text-editor.

Search for a line like this:

skypetestuser1 = Username

-r195 .100.213.25:31101 = IP-adress

This line will be probably at the bottom of the log file

10. Trace the IP-adress to get more information:

utrace - locate IP addresses and domainnames
