Windows Vista Final (Time Crack) Explained

In this post I'll explain how to activate (stop the time limit) the Windows Vista (Final, RTM) while it's in trial mode (you can download vista final by a simple torrent search).

(assuming that you have installed it without typing any serial numbers in the installation steps and "Auto. Activate Windows when I'm online" was ticked off).

here it goes:

1) Download the crack attached in this post

2) Disconnect from Internet

3) Click on : Start, "All Programs" then "Accessories"

4) Right click on: "Command Prompt" and choose: "Run as administrator"

5) in the Command Prompt type (make sure you are in "C:\Windows\system32"): date

6) it will display for example:

-

The current date is: 2007-01-28

Enter the new date:

-

type in the last line: (yy-mm-dd) 2099-12-31

so that the last line will look like:

-

Enter the new date: (yy-mm-dd) 2099-12-31

-

then press Enter and leave the window open

7) Go to the crack folder and open the "install" file

8) Click "Test" then "install" and then close the crack installation window

9) Go to the opened Command Prompt window and type: date

10) press Enter

11) Type the correct (current) date

12) press Enter

13) Type: Exit

14) press Enter

15) Go to "Start" then "Run"

16) Type: slmgr.vbs -dlv

17) click OK

18) within 10 seconds a window will be opened on bottom of that windows you'll see (xxx's are numbers):

License Status: Initial grace period

Time remaining: xxxxx minute(s) (xx day(s))

You'll notice that these numbers won't change while days passes

19) now restart your computer and then reconnect to Internet

20) You'll notice that your current date is year 2099; correct your date & time

21) restart your computer

and Enjoy the all new Vista system
