Fun little innocent scam (make $10 in 5 minutes)

Ok so I discovered a fun scam to do with cashiers and works almost 100% of the time if you do it right. Even if you get caught you can act like it was your bad and you did the math wrong.

So here's how it goes:

Step 1. Go up to a cashier and ask her if you can get a $10 bill for 10 $1's

Step 2. She hands you $10 and you hand the cashier 9 $1's and a $10 bill (supposedly by mistake) and then ask her to double check it

Step 3. You pocket the $10 and then when she realizes that you gave her the wrong amount tell her you will just give her $1 more and make it 20 and she can give you a $20 bill.

What she doesnt realize is that you just gave her 10 $1's and a $10 and she gave you a $10 and a $20. You just scored $10! If you are cunning enough you may adjust the amounts and possibly get more out of it. Enjoy.
