Telefoanele mobile pot fi controlate de hackeri, avertizeaza specialisti în securitate de la IBM, McAfee si Symantec. Si se pare ca pot face ca mobilele personale sa se transforme în adevarate unelte de spionaj împotriva noastra. Asta pentru ca hackerii pot sa controleze si camera telefonului si sa filmeze proprietarul, fara ca acesta sa aiba habar, scrie SmartNews. Cel mai cunoscut caz de astfel „spionaj” telefonic, însotit de amenintari, este al unei familii din SUA. Hackerii au înregistrat anumite conversatii de pe telefoanele mobile ale membrilor familiei, dupa care le-au transmis mesaje de amenintare cu moartea. Potrivit politiei, mesajele proveneau într-adevar chiar de pe telefoanele familiei, chiar si daca acestea erau închise. Specialistii în IT au cercetat posibilitatea unui astfel de atac si au ajuns la concluzia ca hackerii pot controla telefoanele, însa atacurile nu se pot realiza, deocamdata, decât pe victime individuale. Nu poate fi vorba de un atac în masa, asigura ei.

Presupun ca e articol dintr-un ziar sau site de securitate. Exprimarea e putin cam eronata. Hackingul nu are legatura cu telefonia. Phreakingul in schimb este cuvantul potrivit. Hackingul este o derivatie aparuta din phreaking. Mentor spre exemplu (cel ce a scris acel manifest al hackerilor) in asta era specializat.
