Solid State Drive or GPU?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm thinking of upgrading my computer. I am considering a Solid State Drive or another GPU. Currently I have a crucial M4 128GB installed and I'm considering upgrading to a 512GB drive. Should I go for another Nvidia gt750 GPU (Which will boost my system to 4GB graphics) or should I go for a Crucial M550, Crucial M500, or a samsung evo 840? Crucial uses MLC (multi-layer-cell) technology which is more durable than the samsung's TLC (three-layer-cell). Both drives are very fast, and I'm not sure if I should go for a faster speed or a longer lifespan. If you have any suggestions within the $350 price range, any feedback is welcome. The GPU is under $250 Thanks!

(if it helps, my computer is a Lenovo Y-510p laptop with an intel i7 4770mq cpu, Integrated intel hd4600 graphics, Nvidia gt750 gpu, windows 8.1 pro installed on crucial m4 128 GB, 24gb mSATA, and a 1TB seagate hdd in the optical drive)
