Build your own Kali Linux PwnPhone or PwnPad

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Here is a little guide to build your own fully loaded Kali Linux PwnPhone or PwnPad including WiFi cracking enabled.

Nexus 5:

1. Install TWRP

2. Root your device

3. Install MultiRom Manager (this will allow a multi-boot selection between your original stock and the pentesting one)

4. Install CM11+Gaps (Google Play Store)

5. Install the ElementalX0.24 N5 Kali Linux modified Kernel.

6. Root the CM11 ROM.

7. Install Linux Deploy to fast install Kali Linux.

After the Kali is installed, login using SSH into it and issue apt-get install kali-linux-full . This will install all the Kali ARM tools.

Tested and working for WiFi cracking the TLWN722N adapter.

Tested and working ONLY in BTLE mode the Ubertooth.

Tested Alfa Cards and are 100% working but with OTG Y-cable.

Nexus 7:

N7 issue: if the power drops by the kernel will panic and the device will reboot.

For any questions please pop in.

Cheers
