New Attack Breaks 128-bit AES

Cryptographers are expecting several of the major cryptographic systems in use today to be broken in the near future. In the Cryptographers Panel at the RSA Conference Tuesday, Adi Shamir said that he is working with a team of researchers who have put together an attack that will break AES-128 in 10 rounds.

Poate ca in cazul RSA-ului era de asteptat dar in cazul AES-ului NU! Au publicat o teorie despre spargerea AES-ului chiar begood a postat daca nu ma insel, dar nu ma asteptam la un asemenea progres atat de rapid. Anuntand ca RSA-1024 o sa cada in mai putin de 10 ani, ma intreb oare cat or sa le ia sa sparga AES pe 128. In orice caz o sa mai dureze, chiar daca asta inseamna progres in tehnologie, si se astepta sa cada AES-ul, multora nu cred ca le convine. Cel putin mie, nu.

Oricum, vom vedea pe viitor ce o sa fie, "teoretic sunt tot teorii" ce au publicat ei.
