Acest model (Compaq Portable Plus), a aparut in 1983, sub pretul de 3590$. Era dotat cu un microprocesor Intel 8088 de 4.77 mHz, o memorie de 128kb, un ecran de 9 inchi, 80x25 mod text, doua unitati de floppy 5-1/4 si sistemul de operare MS-DOS. Calculatorul vine sub forma unei valize, ce contine atat unitatea centrala, cat si tastatura si ecranul. De asemenea, am un microfon ce a venit la pachet.
