Eutelsat a lansat primul canal UHD demonstrativ din Europa

Prima transmisiune UHD s-a facut in data de 8 ianuarie prin intermediul satelitului EutelSat 10A. Noul canal Eutelsat operareaza la 50 cadre pe secunda, rezolutie de 3,840 x 2,160, iar continutul este encodat in formatul MPEG-4 si este transmis la 40Mbit pe secunda (patru stream-uri Quad HD).
