Nytro Posted December 19, 2013 Report Posted December 19, 2013 [h=1]The Pirate Bay's Guyana Domain Goes Down[/h]December 19th, 2013, 08:31 GMT · By Gabriela Vatu - The Pirate Bay's new domain is no longer working The Pirate Bay has been on the run from domain to domain, changing quite a few over the past week. Only yesterday, the site left Peru and moved to the Republic of Guyana. Now, thepiratebay.gy is no longer working, although it’s uncertain if the domain was seized and the site has moved on to another location or there’s an issue with the servers. The site’s insiders said that the easiest way to access the Pirate Bay would be via its old domains over at .SE and .ORG, which would redirect users to the newest homepage, wherever that might be. However, this doesn’t seem to be working either for now. The site’s admins said yesterday that they already had a bunch of domains set up in case they needed to leave again, mentioning that there were about 70 more domains to choose from. Last week, Pirate Bay lost its .SX domain. From there, it moved to Ascension Island’s .AC for about a day, before going to the Peruvian domain. Yesterday, the site had to relocate to .GY. As soon as the site settles for a new domain, the blog will be updated, so check back soon.[uPDATE] The Pirate Bay site seems to be working on the Swedish .SE domain for now, but it looks like it's impossible to download any magnet links at the moment. Most likely, the torrent site is only passing through as it seeks to settle into a new domain. Sursa: The Pirate Bay's Guyana Domain Goes Down [uPDATE] Quote
