Din ce stiu eu menu.lst de la grub 1 poate fi editat cu un simplu editor pe cand grub.cfg de la grub 2 isi ia setarile din alte fisiere, el fiind generat automat. Parerea mea de pe un live cd sters tot ce tine de grub 1 -2 ce ai instalat si reinstalat grub 2. Ai incercat in terminal: sudo update-grub ? si apoi restart?

Poti incerca asa System > administration > user&groups Selectzi userul tau > advanced setings >>> bagi parola ... apoi iti dai drepturile de acre ai nevoie si mai incerci inca o data ce ai spus in primul tau post(cel in care spuneai ca nu poti apasa butonul de apply dupa ce ai pus configuratia ta). Later edit din ce imi aduc aminte la upc ai modem pe cablu coaxial si nu tre sa setezi tu manual ip ul, merge si pe dhcp. @ johncop nu tre sa modifici tu manual pppoe.conf ul ci din network manager in loc de wired dai pe dsl si pui acolo user name , password si un nume la conexiune si poti bifa evenual sa se conecteze automat.

pai trebuie accesat linku din mail ptr ca e un xss yahoo ... nu are ce cookie sa inregistreze daca intra direct pe link as zice eu ....

invata sa scrii si apoi mai vorbim ....pana atunci ... mai taci ....

tu ce crezi ca aici iti vor rezolva altii problemele de la scoala???eu unul nu as face asa ceva si cred ca iti pierzi timpul si faci topicuri degeaba..
