In this news clip, we see how most high-end copier machines ship with a hard drive which stores a copy of all the documents the copier prints, scans or faxes. Once the machine is decommissioned these files still remain on the hard drive and can be restored using off the shelf disk forensic tools. In this video, we see a couple of such data recovery stunts from copy machines of law enforcement officials.

Ce tare. Are un vecin de al meu magazin de asta cu xerox .. oare ce gasesc acolo

Nu prea vad rostul sa puna un HDD intr-un copiator.

Decat daca voiau altceva insa atunci astea nu ajungeau in presa.

Le puteau face,daca unele copii necesita mult spatiu de stocare temporara cu hdd,apoi sa se asigure ca odata operatiunea incheiata se sterg toate datele de pe disk.

Oricum, nu prea a fost bine pentru firma producatoare atunci cand s-a aflat asta.

Oricum spuneau ca 60% dintre americani nu stiau ca se stocheaza imaginile pe un HDD,asta e bine inseamna ca aproape jumatate stiau.
