Change Facebook page name

So many times people asked from me this question " whether it is possible to change the name of the fan page, if more than 200 fans? "

The problem is that in your Facebook page you do not see any option to change your Facebook page name after the limit exceeded. (200 likes) . But there was one workaround that I tested and also helped my friends and colleagues:

Step-by-step instruction for changing the name of the fan page when more than 200 Likes

Step 1. Edit the category page to "local business" (sub category).

Step 2. Enter your business address in the appropriate fields to have a map.

While Facebook will display a warning on a red background: "address not found". Just disregard the notification . Click "Save" and check that the address appears in the information section on your page.

Step 3. Invite lots of friends on the page (at least 15) to click the link "Suggest edit" and Suggest a new name for your page.

If you click it, you will see a pop-up window that will list fields for editing, and the first field from above — page name ". It must enter the desired name for the page. Moreover, this action should do a lot of your friends. (minimum 15+)

Step 4. You will receive a notification after sufficient suggestions received to change your page name. by clicking on that you can confirm to change the name of a your fan page. And you're all set:)

In my case, it came through 30-40 minutes: In case if you didn't get any notification go and check it manually by " Admin panel -> Update page info -> Audience Suggestion ".

This is what I was looking for:) I clicked on the button "confirm" button and the bottom blue button "Save". After this message appears, the data have been updated:

When the page name is updated with new name you can return all settings of the fan page, to the old values if necessary.

So you can solve the problem change the name of your page on Facebook.
