Rasfoind un forum acum vreo zi sau doua am vazut un topic care la inceput nu prea i-am dat atentie insa azi de curiozitate l-am deschis sa vad si eu despre ce e vorba. Pe scurt: doi hackeri au spart siteul astora de la kaspersky si cum se pare ca unuia dintre ei ii place sa steprpeleasca coduri sursa , a furat codul sursa al renumitului antivirus Kaspersky si acum l-a pus de vanzare pe acest forum.

Pretul se pare ca e cam destul de piperat: 500 $ !!!

And as for possibilities:

1) You can analyze code, find weak places and use this info to write malware, which will bypass AV checks;

2) Code is very interesting, most of solutions are pretty good (for example ring0 hooks and other), you can use it in your own project.

3) Of course you can modify code and write your own AV or take some heuristic algorythms if you are already writing your own one

4) Also you can resell it to other AV companies lol do it at your own risk

5) And, finally, you can compile it (with removing licensing code at first ) and use it as AV
