Se pare ca ultima versiune beta a browser-ului Chrome va avea suport pentru API-ul HTML5 speech input, care le va permite dezvoltatorilor sa scrie aplicatii de recunoastere vocala pentru Chrome in standardul HTML5.Aceasta functionalitate le va oferi utilizatorilor posibilitatea de a adauga text pe un site fara a fi nevoiti sa foloseasca tastatura.Sunetele inregistrate sunt trimise catre serverele speciale Google pentru transcriere.
