nu este pentru viteza pe direct conn. este pentru proxy SW, VPN SW, etc..doar pt. ascunderea identitatii, si cine stie marind conexiunile poate este bun si pentru torrent sau alte programe.

Deci v-am explicat acum sper sa v-a multumeasca raspunsul : ady_adam , toshib4 , MagicThunder , me.mello , LLegoLLaS , nexus200

Si inca ceva unii zic ca Windows XP poate duce pana la 8Gb Ram, adica kernel-ul sa recunoasca memoria alocata (fizica), am testat si eu cu 4 Gb DDR1 pe un comp mai vechi si a vazut 3,6 RAM, cum am facut? va explic mai jos:

Pe partitia unde aveti instalat windowsul, sau pe vmware.. aveti fisierul boot.ini care arata intitial asa:

chiar si acum dupa reboot tot nu vede ramul suplimentar ce facem? Creeam un ramdisk nu setam virtual device, nici remuvable media doar "ram disk" si stergem litera alocata lasand spatiul necompletat setam memoria la 4 sau ce memorie este instalata si dam Ok. Nu utilizati ramdisk-ul pentru a seta o valoare mai mare decat ceea ce aveti hardware da memory_ dump in segment 002_00222x110 , poate distruge windows-ul (blue screen)

Viteza la internet poate fi optmiizata prin mai multe metode.

Una dintre ele este modificarea valorii MTU.

MTU se refera la marimea maxima a pachetului care poate circula pe internet.Provideri recomanda valori diferite.Pentru a modifica valoarea MTU in windows deschideti o sesiune de Command Prompt si dati comanda:

netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface '1' mtu = 1492 store = persistent one

Pentru asta se poate folosi freeware-ul SG TCP.
