Ubuntu 12.10 was released on schedule on 18 October 2012. Ryan Paul, writing for Ars Technica, said in April 2012 when the name was announced "A Quetzal is a colorful bird that is common to Central America. Salut. Am niste probleme cu ISP-ul de ceva timp. Nu am internet de unde planuiam sa tin cursul / Nici nu am putut sa fac prezentarea din cauza asta. Problema asta nu a putut fi in nici un fel anticipata. Pur si simplu un Dorel a taiat fibra optica si obliga providerul sa le traga pe sub pamant. Nu exista un ETA. Cursul de Sambata NU va avea loc cu mine. Imi pare rau.
