Silviu Posted March 21, 2011 Report Share Posted March 21, 2011 (edited) Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) - forul de reglementare (sau regulator in cazul de fata ) a tot ceea ce inseamna Internet a autorizat domeniul de nivel superior cu extensia .xxx.Liber la domenii .xxxAsa cum va spuneam acum o luna si ceva, opozitia a fost incredibil de puternica, dar intr-un final, o decizie a fost luata de board-ul ICANN. Odiseea, daca putem sa-i spunem asa, a durat aproape 11 ani, propuneri au fost facute incepand din 2000, dar o puternica opozitie invocand motive cum ar fi “extinderea dominantei imperiilor malefice pe Internet” a reusit pana in acest moment sa blocheze initiativa. Pentru a proteja brand-urile deja existente care au domenii .com inregistrate, acestea vor avea prioritate la rezervarea domeniilor .xxx echivalente, asa ca daca v-ati gandit (ca si mine) ca poate aveti o sansa sa detineti porn.xxx pe care sa-l vindeti pe multe milioane de dolari, o sa fie cam dificil...In final e util de precizat ca noua membri ICANN au votat pentru, trei s-au opus si patru s-au abtinut, deci nu putem spune ca a fost tocmai un consens. Ce ai de castigat, ca firma, daca din start cineva poate sa te treaca pe lista de blocked doar uitandu-se doar la domeniu ?Sunt foarte multe aplicatii / filtre in universitati spre exemplu (nu-i un ex bun...) care impiedica accesul la anumite site-uri gen porn/hacking/youtube.
