secure Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 As simple as it sounds, a one-liter plastic bottle filled with purified water and some bleach could serve as a light bulb for some of the millions of people who live without electricity. Originally developed by MIT students, the "solar bottle bulb" is now being distributed by the MyShelter Foundation to homes throughout the Philippines. The foundation’s goal is to use this alternative source of daylight to brighten one million homes in the country by 2012.Light from a water bottle could brighten millions of poor homes (w/ video)Extrem de interesanta ideea. johnny5 Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Foate interesanta ideea mai ales cand ma gandesc la factura de curent mai ca mi-as monta si eu un astfel de sistem ... oricum pentru zonele sarace ... pentru populatia din lumea a 3-a ... ideea e foarte bine venita... Quote

WarLord Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Originally developed by MIT students - deci toate mintile alea iluminate de la MIT au produs asta. Wow, incredibil! Quote
iBebe Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 E veche treaba asta.. am incercat si eu intr-o cutie nu da cine stie ce radament. Quote
